This course offers an introduction to the theory, history, and methodology of biblical hermeneutics (interpretative philosophy, theory, approach) and exegesis. Students will explore one proven strategy (i.e., Gorman's) to the complex process of biblical exegesis and survey resources that aid students and ministers in completing that process. 3 academic credits. Cost includes $100.00 of tuition and $8 registration fee. Students have one year from from date of confirmed enrollment to listen to all video lectures and complete the assignments.
