BIB500 is a hybrid course that explores the origins and content of the literature (books) of the Hebrew Scriptures, also known as the Old Testament (OT) in Christian circles, considering the history and culture of the people who produced them. This course will introduce the student to critical approaches for reading and interpreting the biblical texts. For CE units/Audit: Attend 90% of sessions and complete a short assignment. 3 CEUs. The cost includes $67.50 in tuition and a $8 registration fee.
